But while this explosive growth has been happening the average business owner has not been able to keep up. They have a business to run and do not have the time, inclination or knowledge to properly manage their business online.

Most businesses have a very basic online presence where they concentrate on a few services (occasionally). Or if they can afford it, pay someone to manage it for them.
